25.06.08What is Blizzard up to?
A few days ago Blizzard Entertainment changed the welcome-screen on their website to an image with some blue ice and symbols. This is usually a sign of a new product, so all the Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft guys obviously began researching and looking for signs everywhere they could think of, and now it has actually gotten to the point where Blizzard regularly changes an image-link and a secret word in their style-sheet. This way they feed the rumor-mill along with all the crazy fanboys.

The research can be studied further here, and I’m obviously hoping for Diablo 3
(update: for some reason the activation has been delayed possibly until october..)
09.06.08Apple intro’s the 3G iPhone
Apple introduced the much antecipated 3G iPhone at the WWDC conference a few minutes ago.
The 3G iPhone will come out in nothing less than 70 different countries, including Denmark (where I live), and has been given a price limit of only $199!!!

07.06.08‘OS X’ as in ‘Mac OS X’ ?
Ok, we all remember the exiting days when Psystar announced their Open-Mac’s, and the world came to an end. Well it’s been a long time since then, and what’s funny is that Apple still hasn’t done anything about it. In fact, Apple hasn’t even commented on the matter. Onto a different story:
At this moment, Apple is preparing for the large WWDC-conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and included in these preparings are a few billboards and posters, which at the moment hang from the ceiling inside the lobby. Well, tradition has it that every time those posters appear, some sneaky photographer has to take pictures of them and post them onto the web. This year, history has repeated itself and those pictures are now published:

If you take a good look at that picture, and then take a look at this picture from 2007:

..do you notice the difference? - hmm.. probably not, but the “Mac” part is gone!
Now I don’t want to get ahead of myself here because, to be honest, there could be any number of reasons, why they left out the Mac. So I figured I’d go through the ones I can think of:
- They left it out by mistake.
- They want to remind us that the iPhone runs OS X as well as the Mac.
- There wasn’t enough space on the billboard.
- OS X is coming to PC’s.
Obviously the 4th possibility is the one I’m all exited about, and it’s the whole reason why I’m even mentioning the whole Psystar-case. Anyhow, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you about this potentially exiting matter, and also remind you that WWDC is this monday the 9th. and it will indeed kick your ass once more!
27.04.08IGN Rates GTA IV “Perfect”
We all know Grand Theft Auto IV will be released for Playstation 3 and xbox 360 on the 29th, but none of us know very much about the game, besides what we’ve seen in the limited number of trailers, Rockstar has released.

One lucky editor at IGN.com has been allowed to review the game though, and the reason I’m mentioning this is because he said quote:
Without question, Grand Theft Auto IV is the best game since Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
For those of you that don’t know, I’m a big Zelda fan, and when someone says a game is equal to Ocarina of Time, I start listening! Mind you, Ocarina of Time is one of the few games Gamespot has ever rated 10 of 10. Sadly though, Gamespot hasn’t had their chance to review it yet, so for now we’ll have to settle for IGN.
Anyhow, IGN obviously gave GTA IV a perfect score, meaning 10 of 10, meaning totally, crazy, unbelievably awesome! Like the rest of the world, I have preordered the PS3-version, and expect to pick it up this tuesday. Can’t wait ![]()
